For some time we have been aware that due to time pressures and unfamiliarity with the task, FM’s are using installers to download CCTV footage. This is particularly relevant to unmanned sites.
As an addition to our GDPR Data Compliance Support Service we can also provide a CCTV Evidence Download Service that ensures your data is being correctly managed and released.

Data Protection Legislation
A member of the VeriFi team will attend site to carry out the required evidence download. For sites with remote access VeriFi will download the required evidence from our premises in the New Forrest. As part of the remote service we can also carry out monthly CCTV checks to ensure your system is fully operational.
Once the evidence has been downloaded it will be uploaded to our proprietary Secure File Sharing software. We will then check where required that a Data Sharing Agreement is in place. The FM or Data Manager can then remotely authorise the release before the data is shared with the nominated recipient.
