9.2 Security Control Room
Security control rooms sit at the heart of a security installation, bringing together video surveillance, access control and fire control into one room. It serves as a central space where a large physical facility or physically dispersed service can be monitored and controlled by security guards.
The assessment seeks to check the fundamental operation of the security control room from the perspective of data protection compliance. Access must be limited to the security team, senior building management personnel and service providers responsible for maintenance of the various systems housed in the room.
